Our Story
Scholar Stew was founded by a Black woman from Chicago who knows firsthand the power of education and opportunity. As a first-generation college graduate, she walked the path of scholarships, financial aid, and persistence — and proudly earned her degrees debt-free.
That journey sparked a passion to help the next generation do the same. Too often, students and families are overwhelmed by the cost of college and unsure where to start. Scholar Stew was created to change that — by simplifying the process, offering clear strategies, and providing the support students need to unlock the funding that makes higher education possible.
At Scholar Stew, we mix together the right ingredients — scholarships, guidance, mentorship, and encouragement — so students can focus less on the stress of paying for college and more on chasing their dreams.
